The Putnam IDA, to promote develop and assist the business community

THE MISSION of the IDA is to increase the present industrial tax base in Putnam County and help attract clean, environmentally sensitive manufacturing and industrial interests to the County.

The Putnam County Industrial Development Agency was formed in August 1995. Its goals are to retain the present industrial tax base and to attract appropriate new businesses.

It has the capability to offer incentives and issue tax-exempt bonds. Its members are appointed by the County Legislature.

Notice of Meeting:

The Putnam County Industrial Development Agency will hold an Audit Committee and a Board meeting on Monday, December 11, 2017, at 6:00 PM, in the Putnam County Office Building, Finance Department Office, 2nd Floor, at 40 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, NY.
The purpose of the meetings is to review and approve operating expenses and payments, additional Board memberships and plans for the beginning of 2018.
